Community support organisation WWILD will launch a series of video resources later this month to help victims of sexual assault report the assault to police.
‘Sexual Assault and Ways to Report It: A video guide by women with intellectual disabilities’, which covers the many ways sexual assault can be reported to police, is created by, and targeted at, people with intellectual disabilities.
It follows consultation with Queensland Police Service, legal organisations and women with intellectual disabilities.
The six animated videos, created with Queensland Government funding, will be available at wwild.org.au following the online launch from 1pm to 2pm on Friday 28 October.
