Time is running out to nominate a peer for the Dame Quentin Bryce Domestic Violence Prevention Advocate Award, with nominations closing on Friday.
Presented by Women’s Legal Service Queensland and administered by Queensland Law Society, the award recognises a legal professional who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and contribution to the prevention of domestic violence.
It encourages a commitment to addressing domestic violence and advocating for change in workplaces, academia, law and social systems.
The award will be presented at the Legal Profession Breakfast at Brisbane City Hall on 23 November.
