National law firm, Barry Nilsson, has announced 27 internal promotions and a new principal hire across its network of offices as part of its July appointments.
Of these appointments, 10 are Brisbane-based appointments, including new Principal Matt Hempstead (Family), three Special Counsel, one Senior Associate, four Associates and one new appointment in Business Services.

Matt Hempstead is a QLS Accredited Family Law Specialist with experience in a diverse range of family law matters, including property, domestic violence, child support and spousal maintenance.
An experienced advocate, Matt has a particular interest in complex property and parenting matters and has been recognised as a Family Law Rising Star in Queensland in Doyle’s Guide.
