LawchestraQ takes to the stage with a bumper program of movie themes and soaring overtures as part of the Bands In Parks program – An Afternoon at the Movies at Brisbane City Hall on Sunday, 27 October.
The Queensland Lawchestra or LawchestraQ is a symphony orchestra comprising law students, solicitors, barristers and other members of the legal profession from Brisbane.
This weekend, you can listen to favourite movie themes including The Sound of Music and How to Train Your Dragon, the musicals turned movies of Les Misérables and West Side Story from 2pm-3pm.
The concert is free but there will be afternoon tea and scones available for purchase as well as drinks and cheese packs.
