Catching Lightning: Managing Legal Risk in an AI-Accelerated World is the topic for the first Queensland Law Society In-House Lawyers Breakfast of the 2025 series on 2 April.
Executive Director of the Centre for Legal Innovation at the College of Law, Terri Mottershead, will address the function to be held at Customs House, Brisbane, at 7.30am.

Terri is also the inaugural Chair of the QLS AI in Legal Practice Consulting Committee and the immediate past Chair of the QLS Innovation Committee.
She collaborates internationally with leaders of legal businesses to transform capabilities and practices.
Terri will provide insights into the risks in this accelerated environment and share why traditional approaches to legal upskilling are becoming obsolete.
She will also share how to spot emerging AI developments that matter to in-house lawyers, and strategies for building the agility needed to respond to technological change at unprecedented speed.
