The Townsville District Law Association (TDLA) held the second instalment of its Career Pathway series, Life at the Bar, on Thursday.
At Townsville Yacht Club, barristers Kellie Mythen and Deanna Musumeci, from 31 Sturt Chambers, spoke of their experiences since being called to the bar.
The first instalment of the series, Life at the Bench, was held in August.
The next event on the TDLA calendar is the annual First Nations Lecture to be presented by indigenous Judge Nathan Jarro on November 2.
