‘Cool’ topic centre of hot EDO debate

If you think you used to be cool, then the Environmental Defenders Office (EDO) Debate for Justice may be for you.

This year’s topic is Used to be Cool and it will be debated on Thursday, 8 August, at the QUT Kelvin Grove Campus, supported by the QUT Centre for Justice.

Professor Kate Galloway will be the MC for the event which starts at 6.30pm.

Team one is led by Alan Wilson KC with Sandy Horneman-Wren SC and Peter Murphy SC.

They face the EDO team of Jayme Cooper, Maeve Parker and Tom Robson.

The EDO is the largest environmental legal centre in the Australia-Pacific, and a not-for-profit organisation that uses the law to protect and defend wildlife, people and places.
