Practitioners are invited to attend a Valedictory Ceremony to mark the retirement of the Honourable Justice Peter Applegarth AM this month.
The ceremony will be held in the Banco Court, Level 3, on Friday, 23 August, at 9.15am.
Justice Applegarth was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2008. His Honour served as a Supervised Case List judge in 2010 and as a Commercial List judge between 2011 and 2013.
Justice Applegarth resumed duties as a Supervised Case List Judge in 2014. In 2023, Justice Applegarth became Principal Commercial List Judge.
His Honour was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2020 for his significant service to the law, judiciary and social justice.
